LP Khom wished to become a future Buddha the same as his teacher (LP Parn of Wat BangNomkho, Ayuthaya).

So, this is why he devoted his life and worked hard for Lord Buddha and Buddhism.

LP KHOM'S OATHS:
While he was alive, he tooked the following oaths:

1) I will help Lord Buddha (for teaching task) until I die

2) While living with my monkhood life, it's very shameful for me to own money even 1 THB.

3) I will create and spread Buddha images all over the land

4) Oh, this world is not mine.

5) I must die and will die in the yellow robe.

A HUGH BUDDHA STATUE:
LP Khom built the biggest bronze Buddha statue of the country named Phra Buddha Khodom (Gautama Buddha).

Phra Buddha Khodom was built in B.E.2500 and completed in B.E.2512.

It's a very industrious effort of LP Khom to build the Buddha statue. He was travelling by boat to everywhere in Suphanburi and nearby provinces to receive old bronze-ware donation from people to build the hugh Buddha statue.

SACRED BUDDHA STATUE:
Phra Buddha Khodom is a very sacred Buddha statue. HE will response and bless everyone on demanding request.

LP Khom always recommend poor people to request fund and help from Phra Buddha Khodom statue.

A very poor widow woman requested to the Buddha statue for a fund to buy rice and food for her 7 children.

She was blessed by the Buddha by winning a big lottery prize. She got a hugh fund for life-long living for herself and her children.

An old poor farmer got hit by a truck and severely injured. He needed a big fund for operation.

His wife went to Wat PhaiRongNgua and requested directly to Phra Buddha Khodom for a fund for her husband's medical treatment.

And she also got the fund by winning a big prize lottery.

SAVED BY GUN ACCIDENT:
A Suphanburi man had checked his rifle by looking through the barrel, but the gun fired by accident triggering.

The bullet missed his face just a few centimeters and saved.

His neck hanged a LP Khom amulet.

VERY ABLE MASTER:
LP Khom was a disciple of LP Parn, Wat Bangnomkho, Ayuthaya. He learned and completed incantations from LP Parn.

One day, a seriously ill young man was brought to Wat PhaiRongGnua and begged LP Khom to heal.

LP Khom closed his eyes and sitting still before the the lying man.

A few minutes later, he talked to the young man's parants that the man was discharged with black magics.

"He must be healed within today, otherwise he will die."

LP Khom used his magic knife drawing Yants over the lying man's abdomen and slowly pouring holy water to the man's mouth.

The man vomitted out 3 crossed nails and 1 inch square buffalo skin.

Just a few minutes later, the little square buffalo skin gradually expanded to around a one square-foot skin piece.

"He was discharged with both crossed nails and a piece of rotten buffalo skin which will destroy his internal organs. He will die within one day. ", said LP Khom.

HELL-LAND GARDEN:
Around a year after the Phra Buddha Khodom statue had been completed in B.E.2512. LP Khom continued to build a hell-land garden within the temple.

He wanted to teach people to do good and abstain from evils or bad conducts.

The hell land has so many sculptures of hell beasts who conducted sins while living as humans in this world but convicted to receive punishment after death.

After the hell land had been completed, he told all the hell-land beasts to help teach people to do good for not to become the horror beasts after death.

Amazingly, some night of waning-moon period, the beasts will scream with terrible, high-pitched voice.

Sometimes, LP Khom had to soothe them for softer voice not to scare people and they followed LP Khom's request.

LP Khom is one of the great monk masters of post B.E.2500 period. He passed away in B.E. 2533 at the age of 88.

"Life is too short for me to do many other great things for Lord Buddha and Buddhism.

"If you have troubles on lving or facing any problems, please request to Phra Buddha Khodom for help"

This is what he said to his layman and monk disciples a few days before his passing.
