LP PERN'S TIGER
Once LP Pern said: "Tigers are the most powerful animals of the jungle. They fear no other animals, but all animals fear them. Even bigger animals such as rhinoceros and elephant avoid a tiger's path."

This is why LP Pern tattooed tiger and created tiger amulets for people.

LP Pern learned tiger tattooing and tiger amulets creation from his teacher - LP Hiim, the former Abbot of Wat BangPhra.

In B.E.2504-2515, LP Pern was the Abbot of Wat KokKamao, Nakonpathom. It is here he began tattooing tiger to people.

WAN WAIKRU
In B.E. 2516, LP Pern was invited by people to become the Abbot of Wat Bangphra - the temple where he had been ordained in B.E.2491.

In B.E.2519, LP Pern established "Wan WaiKru" (the paying-respect-to-teacher day) at Wat BangPhra.

The ceremony will be held in February or March of every year.

It's the day for gathering all his disciples at one place to be insructed to do good and to avoid doing sins.

LP PERN'S SPEAR
While LP Pern lived at Wat KokKamao, there are many tens people gather before his seat waiting tattooing from him.

A man received tatooing from him, just waiting the last blessing is still not sure on the efficacy of the tatooing.

He whispered his doubt to a friend who's sitting by.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, a Patak ( Thai-style spear) was throwing to strike the man's body:

"Chuuuk" !!

While the man was puzzling with pale face, LP Pern said,

"How it's been on your body, look it now. If my taooing is not real good, the Patak will go through your body."

After the consciousness was back to the man, he crawled and stopped in front of LP Pern's seat. He prostrated 3 times to pay respect and apologized for his impropriate thought.

Apart from being the Abbot since B.E. 2516, in B.E. 2519 he was appointed by Sangkha Administration to be an Ordainer which is an important position for Sangkha.

By the position of Ordainer, LP Pern can ordain any-21-year-old-up man to become a monkhood.

LP Pern maintained his monkhood positions until his passing in B.E.2545 at the age of 79.

Even LP Pern passed away for 20 years, he is still highly respected as one of the greatest masters of the country because of his Buddhistic incantation ability and ultra Dhamma practice.
