LP Doem (B.E.2403-2494)
LP Kant (B.E.2434-2513) The most senior disciple of LP Doem
龙婆甘瓦栲高2500s年 象牙四面雕刻佛牌 LP Kant Ivory Carving Masterpiece 4 in 1 "Phrom SieNah", Wat KaoKaew, Nakonsawan Late 2500s
Dimensions: 1.3 X 2.8 cm Material: Ivory Item ref: pk65214
This is a VHTF LP Kant ivory carving "Phrom SieNah" of late 2500s, comprising a Samadhi Buddha, Maravichai Buddha, a Somdej, and a Nangkwak. It's a magnificent four-in-one amulet
"Phrom SieNah" (four-face Phrom) is just a borrowing word to call any amulet having four faces for easy to understand and imagine.
The carving style and filigrees of the amulet significantly tell us it's an art piece of Phayuhakiri school which has been very famous since LP Doem's time up until LP Kant's period.
Phayuhakiri's artisans used carving knife to carve ivory amulets by hands - absolutely no machine apparatus. So, we can see the knife carving trace of sharp cut on the ivory Phrom SieNah's surface.
Phayuhakiri is a District of Nakonsawan province. It's close to the southern Takli District where Wat NongPho located.
The ivory "Phrom SieNah" was brought by a previous owner to have it polished as we can see it looks whiter and shining when tilting to some angles.
Even some of the ivory "oldness" trace was slightly faded, but it can still be seen on the surface - especially on the sides of Samadhi Buddha and Nangkwak.
As I have been reported, an old man owned the ivory master-piece amulet.
Later, the amulet successively passed to his daughter. And she sold it without any knowledge of its value.
THE MOST SENIOR DISCIPLE LP Kant, the creator and blesser of the ivory "Phrom SieNah" was a closest and the most senior disciple of LP Doem Wat NongPho, in late 2490s.
The LP Kant ivory "Phrom SieNah" has broad properties and efficacies covering all aspects as shown by its four sides of three Buddhas and one Nangkwak.
So it has great efficacies and properties for prosperity, Metta, life safty, drawing in wealth & fortune, career progress & promotion, family harmony, etc.
LP Doem had many close disciples viz:- - LP Kant of Wat KaoKaew - LP Chan of Wat Klong Ranong - LP Choi Wat Hua-Ngiew - LP Noi of Wat NongPho - LP Onn of Wat Kokdua - LP Oii of Wat Nongbua - LP Sod of Wat Hangnamsakorn - LP Od of Wat Chansen
In among the above-mentioned LP Doem's disciples, LP Kant is most senior.
SUCCEEDED LP DOEM' S INCANTATION LP Kant was born in B.E.2434 and ordained for his monkhood in B.E.2455. He was an early-period, close disciple of LP Doem, Wat NongPho. He learned Phutdhakom (Buddhistic incantation) with LP Doem since early years of his ordination.
LP Kant succeeded all incantation knowledge from LP Doem, which includes making and blessing of MeedMoh, Singharaj (Lion King), and many other ivory carving amulets.
LP Kant was appointed by SangKha (monk administration) to be the Abbot of Wat KaoKaew, Nakonsawan, in B.E.2461.
While LP Doem helped build and renovate many temples since 2460s, It's LP Kant who followed LP Doem to construction sites to alleviate LP Doem's burden.
LP Doem created and blessed ivory amulets in 2460s. After his passing in B.E.2494, LP Kant sat his place and successively created and blessing efficacious ivory amulets since late 2490s.
A lot of early period of LP Kant ivory amulets created since late 2490s (after LP Doem's passing) up to early 2500s were sold at a high price as LP DOEM'S STUFFS !
LP Kant passed away in B.E.2513 at the age of 79 after living his long-year monkhood for 58 years.
