This is an oyster-fossil carving LP Thuad, Wat ChediHoi, Pathumthani, B.E. 2542. The LP Thuad of this batch were created only once and forever.

The oyster-fossil LP Thuad amulets were initiated by LP ThongKlueng and had a great blessing ceremony on April 9, B.E. 2542.

A huge pile of oyster fossils were found underground in the temple's vast areas of about 8 meter deep from the ground surface. The place where the fossils were found now becoming a pond.

Wat ChediHoi situates in Pathumthani province which was close to Bangkok. Once in around 8-10 million years ago, the province and the nearby Bangkok were a part of the sea.

The temple was established and constructed in 2530s under the direction of LP ThongKlueng - the Abbot.

LP ThongKlueng was a disciple of the famous LP Seng Wat Bangna, Pathumthani; LP Uttama Wat Wang Wiwekaram, Kanchanaburi; and LP Tiam Wat Kasattradhirat, Ayutthaya.

LP Thongklueng had traveled into a deep jungle in Kanchanaburi province.

One day he saw a holy place in his meditation and an amazing voice told him to establish a temple right there.

By his meditation, the place was once a city named "RattanawadeeNagara" in the ancient time and he was then the governor.

In late 2520s - early 2530s, he was roving to find such the holy place as seen in his meditation. Then an area in Ladlumkaew district, Pathumthani province was found - everything here looked the same as what he had seen in meditation.

LP ThongKlueng consulted his father that he wanted to establish and construct a temple right there but he had no money. His philanthropic father gave him a large sum of money to buy a vast land of 113 Rai (around 45 acres).

While digging deep into the ground in an area - now a big pond of the temple, a hugh pile of oyster fossils were found. Samples of the fosssils were sent to Department of Mineral Resources for age estimation - they were reported 8-10 million years age.

Amazingly, the extinct big oysters gatheringly died in the temple's vast areas.

By research and examination of the Department of Mineral Resources, within the areas of 100 km diameter from the temple center there were no oyster fossils found.

DEVOTED OYSTERS
An ultra-Dhamma monk explained that the oyster fossils are holy objects. They waited the VIP savior - LP ThongKlueng - for a very, very long time until he came and found this place.

The reverent monk continued, oyster fossils wanted to reborn after staying there for many million years. And they devoted their fossil bodies to do merit as LP ThongKlueng brought them to have Chedis constructed - the world's only one of its kind.

The oyster fossils were later brought to carve amulets for donors in B.E.2542 to raise fund for temple construction - this is LP ThongKlueng did it only once.

The above seen are the pics of a LP Thuad carving amulet of oyster fossil. The fossil is a holy object called "Gaiyasit" - it's believed that divine livings live inside.

LUCKY MAGNET
The oyster-fossil carving LP Thuad has double-actioned efficacies & properties:
- one from the miraculous and powerful LP Thuad
- the other one from the devoted oyster fossils

So, this is the amulet has broad efficacies & properties, such as KlaewKlaad or life safty, Metta, drawing in wealth & fortune, etc.

In paying respect to teacher day, LP ThongKlueng would perform a religious ceremony - citing praising words to all oyster fossils.

They were called PooHoi & MaeYah Hoi - the great grand father and mother oysters because their fossil bodies have helped so much in raising fund for the temple construction.

This means the amulets of holy oyster fossils from Wat ChediHoi are lucky magnet bringing in money flowingly and continuingly. This is really great to us.
