This is a HTF, B.E.2507 commemorative medal of Field Marshal Sarit Thanarat (B.E. 2451-2506), a former Prime Minister of Thailand.

Due to its reputation on charm or attractiveness, the medal had a nickname given by people in the old days as Rian KhunPaen Yuk Jaruad (KhunPaen of the Rocket Age)

It's recorded in many places that the commemorative medals of FM Sarit were blessed by several renowned monk masters at that time, such as LP Chong of Wat NaTangNok, LP Nueng of Wat Chulamanee, LP Seng of Wat Kalya, and LP Toh of Wat Pradoo Chimplee, among others.

Please note that there are inscriptions on the medal made by a tattooing device. A previous owner had it done by a qualified monk master to enhance its efficacious power.

FM Sarit is a person with high charisma. He is a powerful militarist, a successful ruler (Prime Minister), and a great lover, all in one.

Although FM Sarit held immense power, but he never used it to oppress ladies. He spoke sweetly and was very polite to ladies.
Therefore, his numerous wives deeply respected and loved him.

Many people often speak highly of FM Sarit, describing him as a person of great fate, a prime minister, a powerful military leader whom people feared, and a person with great attractiveness - having so many wives.

Actually, he had many more wives than Hanuman - his personal idol !!

KHUNPAEN YUK JARUAD
FM Sarit passed away in B.E. 2506, and in B.E. 2507 the army had the Royal Mint make commemorative medals to distribute to those
attending his funeral.

These medals are a symbol of MahaAmnaj and MahaSaneh that FM Sarit had during his living years.

Over the years, the medals have become rare and popularly sought after by military and police personnel because of their unique charm or attractiveness.

The medals were easily called as a nickname given by people at that time as "KhunPaen Yuk Jaruad" (KhunPaen of the Rocket Age).

The commemorative medal distributed in B.E. 2507 has now been nearly 60 years since its distribution, and is considered a rare and valuable medal that love seekers popularly wear on the neck or hide it in their shirt pocket.

THE NATION BUILDER
FM Sarit was an important military leader, administrator, and nation builder of Thailand.

He seized power in B.E. 2500 and governed Thailand as Prime Minister during the years B.E. 2502-2506.

When he took power, FM Sarit ordered the closure of opium dens throughout the country, and launched a crackdown on mafia and gansters in all areas of the country, bringing peace and stability to the people.

He accelerated the development of important infrastructure, procuring electricity and water supplies for widespread use by the people.

FM Sarit cracked down on drug trafficking movement and arrested arsonists who sought to exploit insurance claims of compensation, and ordered the harshest punishment for those charged with major crimes.

During his administration, communism was spreading in Thailand. He ordered a heavy crackdown, many key suspects being
arrested and prosecuted.

A GREAT ADMINISTRATOR
He was the first Thai Prime Minister who planned the country's development by gathering economists, bankers, traders, and intellectuals to jointly write the first master plan for national development.

The foundation of the master plan for national development that he laid was a great example subsequently adopted by successive governments to this day.

The national development plan has been leading Thailand to advance and become a prosperous country in ASEAN with a flourishing economy, strong infrastructure, and well-educated workforce - changing from a country once impoverished to glorious achievements.

Among the many prime ministers of Thailand, FM Sarit was one of the most capable administrators.
