Year B.E. 2500 is very important for Buddhism as it was originated in the world for 2500 years ago. Buddhism has since then established and was spreading all over the Eastern hemisphere.
On this auspicious occation, Thai government by Prime Minister P. Phiboonsongkram ordered the creation of 25 Buddha Sattawas amulets to raise fund for the construction of PhutthaMonthon (Buddhist Precint/ BKK suburb).
25 Buddha Sattawas amulets that widely known in among people are of these two types - baked clay and metal of lead.
- Baked clay, created 2,421,250 pieces
- Lead, created 2,421,250 pieces
Grand Total: 4,842,500 pieces
But the above seen is extremely rare 25 Buddha Sattawas lotus-leaf "Kradum" (button). Only 900 pcs were created for Kammakarn (committee) who participated organizing the auspicious 2500th year of Buddhism celebration.
It can be said that in among all 25 Buddha Sattawas amulets, the Kradums are a kind of hardest-to-find items.
Yes, money is hardly to earn, but such the great amulet "Kradum" is much more harder to find than earning money !!
Real collectors try to seek and search such the Kradums for their necks.
Fronside of the Kradum has Lord Buddha image on walking posture - implying progress on life, business, career, etc.

BIGGEST EVER CONSECRATION:
For all 25 Sattawas amulets including the Kradum were consecrated twice at Wat Suthat by 108 monk masters: February 9-11 and May 2-4, B.E.2500.
It's recorded as one of the biggest ever consecration ceremonies of the country, the other one is Chinnaraj Indochine B.E.2485 consecration.

SINGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE:
By the hugh number creation of nearly 5,000,000 pieces of 25 Buddha Sattawas amulets both baked clay and lead make it rather easy to find.
But for the "Kradum", only 900 pieces were created, this is very extremely rare to find.
